James Alpi

Jim Alpi is the founder of Oxford Energy Group and is responsible for overseeing all of the company's projects. Prior to establishing Oxford Energy Group, Mr. Alpi was a partner with the international law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he had over 20 years of experience in advising clients on the structuring, financing and operating of alternative energy businesses. His clients have included many of the largest energy companies, utilities, financial institutions and investment funds. Mr. Alpi has a law degree from Georgetown University, a Masters from Pace University and an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from Oswego State University. He has also been an adjunct professor in the Masters of Laws program at Georgetown University and is a frequent lecturer and speaker on alternative energy. Mr. Alpi also serves on the board of directors or advisory committees for several energy companies, funds and trade associations.
